When Uranus re-enters Gemini on April 25, 2026 we will have entered into an exceptional year of positive aspects in a
more stable fashion as the planets establish themselves in the new signs of
Aries, Aquarius, and Gemini, as we enter the most optimistic quarter of the 20-year Jupiter-Saturn cycle. The Uranus-Neptune-Pluto minor grand trine, which marks this period, will begin to manifest more significantly, with 5 exact aspects occurring, with Saturn and Jupiter added five more aspects to this most beneficial configuration. The outer planets are working in harmony in an exceptional synergy.
I often write about adaptation for change and building for new energies and transitions. However, in reality, astrological changes are generally very gradual over incremental steps, but for this year, I would venture to say that the planetary configuration offers a distinctively new scenario, that is a more definite departure from the configuration from ten years ago, marked by the Uranus square Pluto aspect from 2016, where, between 2012 and 2015, Uranus squared Pluto seven times.
One could say that the last ten years have involved the final quarter of the previous 20-year Jupiter/Saturn cycle, a de-constructive phase, and the first quarter of the current Jupiter/Saturn cycle, a re-construction phase. Later this year, I consider to be the beginning of the a ten-year period that is the most constructive of the Jupiter/Saturn cycle. The next five-year period is generally marked by an exuberant active optimism, with the following five years generally marked by a more stern, stentorian realism.
When
Neptune and Saturn re-enter Aries on January 26 and February 13, there
could be some turbulence as a final period of revisiting past cycles
closes. The end of February looks to be quite intense with a Solar eclipse (Feb 17), Saturn conjunct Neptune (Feb 20), Mercury Retrograde (Feb 25), Mars square Uranus (Feb
27) and a Lunar eclipse (March 3). Should I rectify my previous statement about the Israel-Hamas war
and predict an end before April 25? Presumably, it could, but with the
difficult end of February period, it's possible that the peace process
can get stalled this Winter. Moreover, the Russian-Ukraine war
could see improvements in that peace process (Admittedly, I haven't
looked at any specific charts for those situations. I'm just basing my
views on the general astrological outlook).
Mercury retrogrades through all three water signs: February 25-March 20; June 29-July 23; October 24-November 13, 2026
